Last week Louis Tyler (Year 10), who had won the school heat of the Rotary Young Chef of the Year competition, helped to prepare his two course meal with the chefs at the Malvern Hills Hotel. This was then served to Colwall Rotary Club and invited guests at their evening meeting.  Louis was a credit to the school and the meal was described as "delicious". Louis will participate in the Area round on February 9th.

Year 9 Guided Pathways Evening - Thursday 2^nd February, 7-9pm

I would like to invite Parents and Guardians of Y9 students, to our Guided Pathways Information Evening where you will be able to find out more about the KS4 Curriculum at The Chase. By this date, students will have been given information in assemblies, form time and their personalised pathways form together with handbook to bring home. This information provided will hopefully be helpful in the decision making process in which some choices have to be made by students in preparation for Year 10.

Monday 6th February 2012 - 6.00 to 7.30 PM In the Main Hall

On Monday, 6 February, we are hosting a session aimed at parents of students in Year 11 whose children will be taking their GCSEs in 2012. Ms Wilson and Mr Roberts will be available to discuss any concerns or queries and Curriculum Leaders for Maths, English and Science will run sessions for parents on how to effectively support students in these core subjects.

Mrs Hoole (Acting Coordinator of Additional Needs) will also be available to meet with individual parents, as will Simon Berry – school careers advisor. Some revision guides will also be available to order.
