Gurdwara Trip 9th May
by Leena Batchelor (Staff) - Thursday, 5 May 2016, 10:24 AM

The RE Department are looking forward to taking Year 8 students on the 9th May to the Gurdwara in Birmingham.  This visit will be for those students in X pop who have previously paid.   Students should remember to bring something to cover their heads - this could be a scarf or cap and will need to be worn at all times in the Gurdwara (please make sure no gaudy logos are on display).  During the last visit we ate our lunch very early at the Gurdwara, so you may want to bring something VEGETARIAN to eat in the afternoon. You must bring your pencil case.  We leave school at 9am after registration and will return by 3pm.

Please meet Mrs George-Plunkett in the bus bay as soon as you have registered on Monday morning.

Mrs Emily Smith

Curriculum Leader of RE/Philosophy and Ethics

We are very pleased to be able to announce that we have now appointed all four of our new House Leaders. Mrs Caroline Jacobs (previously an Assistant Headteacher) was appointed as the House System Project Manager in March. She is now joined by Samantha Morris (previously our School Counsellor), Christine Shipp (currently one of our Pastoral Support Assistants) and Sarah Harris (currently a Youth and Community Officer with a background in teaching). We are thrilled that we have been able to appoint such dedicated, experienced, skilled and caring colleagues to our new team.
